Lisa Marie Pizana, soprano, was born in the Philippines and has spent her formative years in the Washington area developing her skills and talents in singing, acting, and modeling. She studied music at the Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts and received her training in Opera Performance at the University of Northern Iowa. She has worked with the Washington National Opera Studio Music Education Department and has sung for various organizations throughout the United States.

Recently she performed in concert for the televised production of BACKSTAGE PASS "The Four Divas: Un Concerto Vittorioso" hosted by NBC News Anchor Susan Kidd. Ms. Pizana has performed for the New Jersey Xtreme’s at the William Mennen Arena; premiered works for Classical Composer Wang An-Ming at Strathmore Hall Arts Center and the Charles Sumner Museum for the District of Columbia Federation of Music Clubs Composers Concert; starred as Sarah in the Musical production of Terrence McNally’s "Ragtime" with the Theatre Lab; performed with the Choral Arts Society of Washington for the nationally televised production of "A Capitol Forth;" and performed a full season with the Heritage Signature Chorale. Lisa is a recipient of both the National Association of Teachers in Singing (NATS) and the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club (NANBPW) competition. Her repertoire includes roles from Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, Gianni Schicchi, The Magic Flute, and La Traviata.
